Are you ready for some joy? Then please watch the animated video below for the klezmer-infused multicultural wedding extravaganza “Chair In The Air,” from Intended Immigration.
The music is a 21st-century interpretation of the uplifting music traditionally played at Jewish wedding receptions, when bride, groom and family members are placed on chairs and carried around the dance floor by the celebrating guests, and the music combines elements of “Hava Nagila,” “Siman Tov” and Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March.”
Intended Immigration blends modern electronica with swinging influences from across the world. “Chair In The Air” appears on Intended Immigration’s second album, ‘La Demoiselle du Fonque,’ and has also been released as a single featuring Bob Eckstein’s artwork.
